Shameless Audacity

I love this phrase I just found in Luke 11:8 NIV.

Shameless audacity

— having the boldness to speak up for what you need and want!

I don’t remember ever reading Luke 10:5-8 before, as context for the oft-quoted verses 9-10.

Jesus applauds those who speak up with audacity, asking for what they stand in need of!

Moses is a great example of shameless audacity; so is the Gentile/Canaanite woman in Matthew 15:21-28.

“I will give up all I possess, yea I will forsake my kingdom, that I may receive this great joy.” These are the words of a great king who was desperate to know Jesus.
