Finally! Someone points out all these things I’ve been catching myself!
As it turns out, the Book of Mormon really does not teach Mormonism (meaning the Mormon church).
The book and the institution are not a match.
And the other branches of Mormonism know it.
The RLDS church, the Bickerton branch, the restoration branch — so many branches of Mormonism who love and preach the Book of Mormon know the LDS church is full of BS.
None of these other groups believe in temple ordinances, baptisms for the dead, eternal families, Father God having a body, humans becoming Gods, or polygamy.
All of that crap was made up by Brigham Young, decades after the Book of Mormon.
And the Book of Mormon refutes those things!
As Camilla puts it, “Satan built a false church around the second witness of Jesus Christ.”
Ironic.
Mind blowing.
Disgusting.
